Buying a Baraat dress from Canada
We sell online only, without a showroom, and everything is settled before stitching begins: your size, any change to the design and your delivery option. Each outfit is made in Pakistan and couriered straight to you. If a courier ever asks you for customs, duty or tax, send us the receipt and we refund the verified amount. Send us the product link on WhatsApp if you want to talk a design through first.
Which silhouette suits your Baraat
A lehenga choli pairs a fitted choli, short or floor-length, with a skirt cut from 12 or 14 kalis with a cancan underneath and no trail. A farshi lehenga is paired with a longer shirt, and its circular skirt pools on the floor, often with a trail; see our farshi lehenga range. If a design has a trail, allow extra handling on stairs. A farshi gharara is fitted to the knee before it flares to the floor. A pishwas or open gown over a lehenga, or a closed bridal gown, gives a full-length silhouette from shoulder to hem.
Colour, fabric and work
Classic Baraat colours include red, deep red and maroon with gold embroidery; burgundy, wine and rust sit close to them, while lighter directions include ivory, gold, silver, baby pink and ice blue. The red and maroon bridal lehenga page gathers the classic red-family shades. Baraat bridal work can combine dabka, zari, nakshi, kora and salma sitara with sequins and pearls, while some designs also use zardozi or gota. Fabrics used across Baraat bridal designs include organza, tissue silk, net and velvet for tops; tissue silk, American katan silk, organza and jamawar for skirts; and organza, chiffon or masuri for dupattas.
Sizing in inches and centimetres
Our workshop works in inches, and centimetres are shown for reference in the size guide. Order a standard size from XS to XL, taking the larger size if you are between two, or Custom Size, stitched exactly to the measurements you send; after you order, our team contacts you to confirm them. You can ask for a different colour, sleeve, neckline, length or flare. Anything that adds fabric, embroidery or labour is priced and approved before work starts, and progress photos and close-up videos are available on request.
