Republic Womenswear is a Lahore label led by Sana Sikandar Khan, with stores in Gulberg and at Dolmen Mall. Pret, luxury formals and unstitched lawn make up much of its range. Bridal and wedding couture lines, including a 2024 bridal collection, show its more romantic side. Jewellery and basics lines round out the brand.

Signature Silhouettes: Front-Open Gown, Off-Shoulder Gown and Mermaid Lehenga

Gowns lead. They open at the front, hug the body, drop off the shoulder or sit high on an empire line, usually over a lehenga. Necklines borrow from Western bridal: sweetheart, halter, plunging V and boat. A mermaid lehenga offers a traditional alternative. Decoration is dimensional. 3D organza petals, scalloped hems and scalloped dupatta borders do most of the work. Naqshi, cutdana, pearls and ribbon work add finer detail on net, organza and lama, and some pieces add Swarovski crystals. Rust, teal and red appear for brides who want stronger colour.
