About Ali Xeeshan

Ali Xeeshan launched his label after his debut at PFDC Fashion Week in 2010. He works from studios in Lahore and Karachi. Bridal is the heart of the house. Formals, luxury pret, menswear and unstitched lines sit beside it. His runway shows are built around a story, with props and themed sets. The designer has summed up his approach as more is more.

Signature Silhouettes: Lehenga Choli, Pishwas and Net Capes

Most bridals are a lehenga with a fitted choli, sometimes topped with a sheer net cape. Pishwas styles and long coats appear too. The palette is the loud part. Ruby red anchors the bridal range and suits a Baraat outfit, then contrast takes over: olive with a hot pink border, copper-gold tissue against red velvet. Thread embroidery is often so dense it reads like print, and one runway collection used horses and peacocks as motifs. Pure raw silk forms most bases, with organza or net for the dupatta.
