What Brides Wear to the Reception
For many brides the reception is the most personal look of the wedding. Once the main ceremonies are over, some switch to something easy to move in, such as a net lehenga or a gown. Others save a showstopper lehenga for the evening. Neither choice is wrong. Some designers now pair reception sarees with a jacket or cape, and organza and net are common bases because they stay airy under embroidery.
Reception or Walima?
Pakistani families often use the two words for the same evening. The Walima is the feast hosted by the groom’s family after the Nikkah. The bride’s Walima outfit is usually softer than her Baraat look, and our Walima dresses are built around that tradition. Your outfit is sewn from the measurements you confirm with us. Colour, sleeves, neckline and the amount of embroidery can change where the design allows, and any extra work is priced before production. Progress photos and close-up videos are yours on request. Before dispatch, every finished bridal order goes through an internal quality check on video.

Can the groom’s outfit be planned with mine?
Yes. Our sherwanis for the groom share the bridal delivery tiers, so both outfits can be ordered at the same time.
My reception is soon. What are my options?
Two faster tiers exist. Rush takes up to 30 calendar days for CAD $59, and Super Rush takes up to 14 for CAD $199. We cannot promise arrival by a set date, so add your event date to the order. More bridal looks sit in our Pakistani bridal dresses.
