• More than three months away: free Normal Delivery on bridal-range pieces, which takes up to 3 months.
• One to three months away: Rush Delivery, up to 30 calendar days (CAD $59).
• Two to four weeks away: Super Rush Delivery, up to 14 calendar days (CAD $199).
• Outfits for the families: pieces stitched from branded label fabric arrive in up to 18 calendar days; faster options are not normally offered for them.

Engagement gowns, lehengas or suits

• Lehenga choli or lehenga saree: the festive choice, often under a long open-front jacket; the lehenga saree has its drape already set. Compare our lehengas for the bride.
• Farshi gharara or sharara suit: a shirt over wide-legged bottoms, comfortable through a long seated evening; see our bridal gharara range.
• Pishwas, angrakha frock or open gown: a long, full top over a lehenga or pants; the angrakha wraps and ties at the side. Our gowns for brides show more of this line.

Colour, fabric and work

Engagement looks lean light: ivory, off-white, ice blue, blush, lilac, sage, pistachio and peach, with teal, orange or deep red for a bolder bride. Embroidery comes in silver, rose gold, antique silver or gold, in dabka, zari, salma sitara, sequins and pearls, on organza, tissue silk, net or chiffon over tissue silk or katan silk. Keep the reddest, heaviest look for the baraat, and agree one accent colour with the groom; our sherwani collection for grooms makes matching easy.

Mothers, sisters and close guests can order from the same place. Their outfits are cut from branded, unstitched fabric we buy directly from Pakistani labels, with a purchase record kept for every article, and approved size or feasible style changes cost nothing extra. Engagement dress questions

Can I wear my engagement outfit again at the nikkah?

Often, yes. Ivory, white and pastel engagement designs suit a nikkah too, especially with a dupatta that covers the head. If both happen on one day, dress for the nikkah; our outfits for the nikkah ceremony are the place to start.

What if I am between two sizes?

Choose the larger standard size, or order Custom Size and we stitch exactly to the measurements you send. The workshop works in inches; centimetres in our size guide are for reference.

How much do Pakistani engagement dresses cost?

Every design shows its price in Canadian dollars, and the grid can be sorted by price. Silhouette, fabric and the amount of handwork move the price; Rush Delivery and Super Rush Delivery are added only if you choose them.
