This ivory sherwani is made from Silk Jamawar and carries fine gold thread embroidery across the garment. Gold zari artwork is concentrated at the high band collar, while deep red detailing follows the front opening and sleeve cuffs.
Ivory Silk Jamawar with gold embroidery
The warm ivory Silk Jamawar base is worked with gold thread embroidery across the garment. Because ivory and gold sit relatively close together in tone, the result is softer than the contrast created by gold against a bright white base while still allowing the embroidered design to remain visible.
The embroidery combines machine threadwork with hand embellishment rather than being entirely hand embroidered.
Gold zari at the high band collar
Gold zari artwork is concentrated at the high band collar. The zari does not continue across the body, sleeves or cuffs; the wider gold surface work is thread embroidery.
Keeping these techniques distinct provides a more accurate description of how the garment is constructed.
Deep red at the front and cuffs
Deep red detailing is stitched directly into the front opening and sleeve cuffs. It is part of the sherwani itself rather than being created by the separate red shawl visible in some styled images.
The red creates definition through the centre line of the garment and at the point where the sleeves meet the hands.
Buttons, collar and silhouette
Large embellished buttons run vertically down the centre front. The sherwani has a high stand / band collar, a fully lined construction and a long formal silhouette reaching approximately 47 inches (119 cm).
Sizing and measurements
Standard sizes from Small to X-Large are available, or you can select Customized Size and provide your own measurements using the diagrams displayed on the product page.
Selected colour, embroidery or design changes may also be requested before ordering, subject to feasibility.
What is supplied
This listing is for the sherwani itself, including its stitched deep red detailing. A kurta pyjama, khussa, red shawl and ivory-and-gold turban may be available separately through the product options.
Styling an ivory sherwani for a groom
Ivory offers a warmer alternative to white while still maintaining a light wedding palette. Gold and deep red give the garment enough definition to work for daytime or evening wedding events without requiring an entirely contrasting base colour.

Care
Professional dry cleaning is recommended. Do not machine wash or iron directly over the embroidery or zari collar. Press from the reverse at low heat or steam gently, and store the sherwani in a breathable garment bag in a dry place.

Frequently asked questions
Is this sherwani ivory or white?
It is ivory. Ivory is warmer and softer than white, and this is a separate design from the white and cream sherwanis in the collection.
What fabric is it made from?
The sherwani is made from Silk Jamawar and is fully lined.
Is the whole garment hand embroidered, and is it all zari?
No. The embroidery combines machine threadwork with hand embellishment. Gold zari artwork is concentrated at the high band collar, while the gold work across the rest of the garment is thread embroidery.
Are the deep red details part of the sherwani or the shawl?
The deep red details at the front opening and cuffs are stitched into the sherwani itself. The red shawl shown in some photographs is a separate piece.
What is supplied with this sherwani?
The listing is for the sherwani, including its own red detailing. A kurta pyjama, khussa, red shawl and ivory-and-gold turban may be available separately through the product options.
Can this sherwani be made to my own measurements?
Yes. Select Customized Size and provide the requested measurements using the diagrams on the product page. Standard sizes from Small to X-Large are also available.
How should the embroidery and zari collar be cared for?
Professional dry cleaning is recommended. Avoid machine washing and direct ironing over the embroidery or zari collar, and store the sherwani hanging in a dry, breathable garment bag.

Sizing & Measurements
Choose a standard size, or select Customised Size and we stitch to your own measurements at no extra cost.
Your size or measurement details are provided before checkout is completed, which is why production can begin the day after you order. If a measurement is unclear, send it to us on WhatsApp before you submit it and our team will confirm it with you.
Care
- Always put paper between the layers when you fold it away. Kora, dabka and nakshi are metallic wire, and the fabric underneath them is fine. Every time the outfit is opened or folded, a stitch on one layer can catch the layer pressed against it and tear through it. A sheet of tissue or plain paper between the layers keeps the wire work away from the cloth, and it costs nothing. Use plain paper rather than newspaper on pale or ivory fabrics, because newsprint ink can mark them.
- Store it folded, not hanging. A heavily worked outfit is heavy, and months on a hanger pull the weight onto the shoulder seams.
- Dry clean only. Hand and machine washing damages metallic embroidery. Tell your cleaner the outfit carries zardozi, dabka or similar metallic handwork so it is cleaned by hand rather than by machine.
- Keep it away from direct sunlight and damp. Perfume and hairspray go on before the outfit, not after.
Questions About This Outfit
Can the design be customised?
Yes. Most customers ask for the design to be made a little more modest — higher neckline, longer or fuller sleeves, more coverage at the back, a longer shirt. Tell us what you want changed on WhatsApp before you order so the pattern is cut correctly the first time. Colour, embroidery colour, sleeves, neckline and length are all adjustable on most designs.
Will the dress look exactly like the photographs?
It will be very close, and we do not compromise on the embroidery or the fabric. Two honest exceptions: the colour shade can look slightly different because of studio lighting and your screen, and because every customer's height and body type is different, a pattern may need to be adjusted so the design sits correctly on you — on a shorter frame, for example, part of the shirt pattern may have to be re-cut. Ask for the final video before dispatch and you will see the actual garment before it ships.
Can I return or exchange it after delivery?
No. Every outfit is cut and stitched for one customer, so it cannot be resold or swapped for another size. That is exactly why the review happens before dispatch: ask for progress photographs and video at any stage, and for the complete final video before your order ships. An order can still be cancelled before dispatch — the windows and deductions are set out in our return policy.
Is there any extra cost on top of the price shown?
No hidden charges. The price you see is the price of the outfit. The only additions are the ones you choose yourself: Rush or Super Rush delivery, and any paid add-ons such as jewellery. Each is priced clearly before you pay.
Can I get matching jewellery with this outfit?
Yes. Matching earrings, necklace and related pieces are available as paid add-ons on this product — select them before you add the outfit to your basket and they are made and shipped with the same order.
Can I get a matching hijab or an extra dupatta?
Yes. Both are possible. Message us on WhatsApp when you place your order and we will tell you exactly how to arrange it.
Is Rush or Super Rush delivery available for this outfit?
Yes, on bridal and groom wear. The Estimated Delivery Timeline box near the top of this page shows live dates for Free, Rush and Super Rush against today's date, so it is always accurate for your order.
